Here are a few of our top tips from our FenceMasters Pros that we like to share with our customers that are guaranteed to help you get the most life out of your new fence.

Remember, Big or Small...we fence them all! We proudly serve the entire Central Arkansas area. Contact us today to get started on your next fence project.

Tip #1: Skip the sprinkler, save your fence! Be sure you're only watering the grass when it's sprinkler season and not the fence. This helps to avoid any discoloring of the wood and avoiding added rotting risk over time.

Tip #2: Keep an eye out for loose nails! If you happen to notice some of the nails are coming loose, grab a nail and hammer it back into place. That way, you won't find yourself dealing with any fallen pickets placing added stress to the rest of your fence or risking Fido getting loose!

Tip #3: Keep the bugs away! Try adding insect repellent plants near your fence area to help avoid any sort of insect damage. Keep those pesky pests away to give your fence its best shot a long lifespan.

Tip #4: While vines are pretty, they're not helpful for your fence! Be sure to trim back any vines that might be growing in and around your fence. This can lead to increased chances for rotten wood over time and added insects.

Should you find yourself in a situation where DIY care isn't enough, we're happy to help! Please give us a call at FenceMasters at 501-847-3700. After all, that's what we're here for!
